Arcade Vintage is a Cultural Association founded to preserve and publicize the culture related to the world of arcade saloons and machines of the 70s, 80s and 90s and, in general, the classic videogame and its history. Arcade Vintage was established as a Cultural Association in 2013 in Petrer, Alicante.

The headquarters of the association it’s an arcade museum room based in Petrer, for its members and the general public, where they organize sessions, events, workshops and tournaments to enjoy the arcade machines and to relive the atmosphere of a classic arcade.

In its arcade museum room you can find true gems of the 70s, 80s and 90s, restored and preserved in perfect physical condition and playability. It has more than 80 machines and it’s considered one of the ten best classic arcades in Europe.

Partners and friends bring their children to play with the games that they enjoyed back in the day. The room tries to faithfully reproduce the sensations that were experienced in the 80s and 90s when entering a room of this type and the general feeling of the attendees is that it bring them back to the past. To the younger ones, it allows them to live what they only knew by hearsay. For us, the social component of the room is its main feature.

In Arcade Vintage we are also organizers of the annual event ArcadeCon: Meeting among Arcade Associations and Game Developers, consisting of three days of talks, round tables, podcasts, technical workshops and tournaments that bring together in our province the national references in games, development, preservation, restoration and diffusion of arcade machines. In 2019 it will celebrate its 5th edition.
